We started with a simple frustration.
Good home goods are either overpriced or badly made, and there's rarely much in between. The $400 version and the $12 version often come off the same production line — you're mostly paying for a logo and a marketing budget.
Vellora Home Co. exists to sit in the middle. We source directly from the manufacturers who actually build these products, skip the retail markup, and pass the difference along.
How we choose things
We're deliberately small. Every product in the shop is here because it earned its place, and we'd rather carry five things we believe in than five hundred we've never handled.
Before something goes on the site, we check three things:
- Does it actually work? We read the specs, not the marketing copy, and ask suppliers direct questions about materials, wattage, and construction.
- Is it safe for a US home? Anything that plugs into a wall ships at 110–120V with a US plug. No adapters, no exceptions.
- Would we put it in our own house? Genuinely the hardest test to pass.
Where your order comes from
We'll be straight with you, because you deserve to know: we don't hold warehouses full of inventory. Your order ships directly from the manufacturing partner who makes it. That's how we keep prices where they are.
The tradeoff is honest — delivery takes longer than a same-day retail giant. We tell you the timeline before you buy, on every product page, and we send tracking the moment your order moves. We'd rather set an expectation we can meet than promise two days and disappoint you.
If something goes wrong
Email us. A real person reads it. We're a young company and our reputation is the only thing we've got, so we'd rather solve your problem than win an argument about it.
